The Speakers.
Mary Lynch M.Agr.Sc. is an Organic Adviser with over ten years experience of converting conventional farms to organic throughout Ireland. She is a co-author of the book on Parasite Control in Farm Animals. A resident teacher at the Organic College, she is the chairperson of the National Organic Standards Committee of I.O.F.G.A.
Kathy Sinnott is a Member of the European Parliament for Munster. Having grown up on a farm, she has a lifelong interest in health, in care of people with special needs and in rural living issues. She has been active on a range of environmental issues at local and European level including industrial pollution, genetically modified crops and radiation. She will explore the vision of a 21st Century agriculture which is modern, sustainable, and accessible to people who want to farm and grow.
Denis Cotter is the founder and owner of Café Paradiso in Cork. A master chef, he has published two books on food and is a committed supporter and friend of the organic movement.
