We are pleased to announce three workshops at the college for this Spring.

Day One :

March 31st

“Planning Preparation”

• Introduction and tour of the College Garden;

• Garden Planning

  • Rotations;
  • Ground Preparation;

• Soil Fertility including

  • Composting -Green Manures
  • Liquid Feeds
  • Wormery.

Day Two :

April 21st

“Growing”

Sowing, Direct Seeding, Transplanting & Planting a range of Vegetables and Herbs both in the Garden and in the Tunnel

Day Three :

May 26th

“Maintenance and Care of Organic Garden”

• Organic Pest & Disease Control;
• Organic Weed Control;
• Harvesting; Using the Crops!

Day Courses run from 10am sharp to 4.30pm

Tea/Coffee served from 9.30am

Organic Lunch from 1 – 2pm

Workshops are ‘hands on’ so appropriate dress is necessary, e.g. rain proof gear, and wellies.

Places are limited so advance booking is advised.

All payments should be made to “An tIonad Glas”. Confirmation of Booking will be sent on receipt of payment.
