Diploma in Organic Enterprise
The Diploma course is normally completed over a two year period. In the first year you complete our certificate course in Organic Growing and Sustainable Living Skills. The diploma builds on the practical skills developed in these courses and and also features:
- Sustainable Farm Management
- Organic Crop production and Protected Cropping
- Organic Enterprise management
- Work Placement and Mentoring
- Countryside Management
This is the only Organic Diploma in Ireland and its graduates are experienced with at least 6 months of quality work placement with the best organic producers available.
The Diploma is certified by the Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association (IOFGA). It also includes a Level 6 module certified by the Department of Education through FETAC.
