We are pleased to announce that we recently one an AONTAS star award for our adult education projects.

**Jim McNamara, college director says:**

We are glad to receive the award particularly for the students of all ages who have contributed to the college in various ways over the past fifteen years.

Many of our graduates are now growing organic food and for them as well as the people of Dromcollogher who welcome our students, it’s another form of recognition of the co-operative spirit and collective enterprise that is a tradition of the area.

The college staff has over the years developed a range of courses to serve people who have an interest in quality food, in growing and in sustainable living skills. We now have a full range of courses which may be taken on a full-time, part-time of Distance Learning basis.

Having a learner centered approach has allowed students become involved in a variety of projects.

The courses at the college are open to adult students of all ages and nationalities and range from one day events to National Certificate and Diploma standard.

We are celebrating the week and the award locally next Friday 26th with an open talk on Food and Growing for health see the details attached.
